Feng Tay has operated on five intrinsic values: Integrity, Discipline, Win-win, Diligence and Craftsmanship, and held on to our management style to attain the three ideal quests. Because of the efforts of the entire management team and employees, our group has survived challenges from Taiwan’s industrial transformation and global recessions, and grown stronger.

    Through the accumulation of our footwear manufacturing experience, extensive search for applied technologies used in various industries, and continuous testing, we are able to create innovations in product design, improve production processes and equipment, and make breakthroughs in footwear manufacturing techniques.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We have continued to strengthen our partnerships with employees and local communities while moving forward to a sustainable future. In order for our employees to work with peace of mind, we established a nursery school to reduce their childcare burden in Taiwan at the early stage of our company. Moreover, we endeavor to provide our employees with comprehensive benefits and create a safe and friendly workplace for them. Through the programs of the foundations we established in Taiwan and China, as well as the efforts of our factories in each region, we adhere to the mission of caring for the community and giving back to society, and continuously promote social contribution activities to carry out our corporate social responsibility.   • 2022

    Developed high resiliency foaming technology.

    IW starts purchasing 100% geothermal electricity and obtains the renewable energy certificate.

  • 2021

    The organization and functions of the BOD Office are reformed.

    The organization and functions of the Holding Office are redesigned.

  • 2020

    The group’s 2020-2030 science-based carbon reduction targets are confirmed by the international organization WRI, and after joining CDP the Group has its annual carbon reduction strategy and progress disclosed through the organization.

  • 2018

    Begin producing backpacks and bags for Nike.

  • 2017

    Both annual production and annual sales exceed 100 million pairs.

    Automated assembly lines are successfully launched at LF, HF and SF.

  • 2016

    An automation equipment assembly plant is established at the Headquarters.

  • 2015

    Product Creation Center is established in Vietnam

  • 2012

    Develop and produce the Nike Flyknit Racer, which is selected by Time Magazine as one of the “Best Inventions of the Year 2012”

  • 2010

    Begin developing automated production processes and equipment

    Publish the group’s first Sustainability Report (2007-2008)

    Begin producing air soles and golf balls for Nike

    Cheyyar SEZ Developers Private Ltd. is established in India to develop a special economic zone in Tami Nadu.

    Relocate the Headquarters to Yunlin Science and Industrial Park

    Second Business Division is established.

  • 1996

    Invest in Top-Tan International Ltd., acquiring shares of Dona Victor Footwear Co., Ltd.

    PT Feng Tay Indonesia Enterprises is established in Indonesia.

    IPO on the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation is issued.

    Nike's first Research and Development Center in Asia is established at Feng Tay.

  • 1988

    Fujian Lifeng Footwear Industry Development Co., Ltd. is established in China.

  • 1981

    The Feng Tay Cultural Foundation is established in Taiwan. (Renamed The Feng Tay Cultural and Educational Foundation in 1993).
