Lean Production
The State of the Art Production (SOTAP) method has been implemented in order to reduce waste in operations and cut production costs as well as to rapidly adjust to customers' changing product needs. The learning and growing capabilities of the organization have been continuously strengthened by producing small lot yet diverse products with high quality.
NIKE Shox
The NIKE Shox was inspired by the idea of car cushioning. It is a shoe midsole made of small hollow columns of special materials that help to "bounce back" and absorb impact from heel strikes while running and jumping.
Digital Printing and Laser Etching
The latest digital printing and laser etching technologies have been applied to render complicated graphics on vamps within limited time allowances to meet particular style and uniqueness requirements. Through a tailor-made process, the product value is increased.
Multilayer Golf Ball
New materials and structures of the golf ball have been developed, and the core density and layer design have been improved to enhance the controllability and effectiveness of striking. The dimples have also been well designed through careful calculation of the fluid mechanics to minimize air resistance and to enhance the flying distance and stability of the ball.
Rapid Prototyping
Advanced rapid prototyping is enabled through stereolithography, a process in which jet printing and UV-curable resin are used to build complex 3D models layer by layer. Through applications including rapid tooling and verification of designs prior to physical mold making, rapid prototyping effectively shortens product development lead time.
