| ‧Community Partnerships |
Since its founding in 1971, Feng Tay Group has actively supported local communities as an integral responsibility. The Feng Tay Cultural Foundation (renamed as the Feng Tay Cultural and Educational Foundation in 1993), was established in Douliu City of Yunlin County in 1981. Beginning in 1992, the Foundation has published the journal Environmental Protection Source to provide practical information on the environment, safety and health to the public, in particular small and medium-sized businesses in Taiwan. The Foundation also provides financial aid to less fortunate students in elementary school, intermediate school, and university. Furthermore, the Foundation financially supports civic organizations such as the fire department and sponsors many community activities including sports events, music and dance performances, and art exhibitions.
In China, the Da Feng Cultural Foundation was established in 1991 in Fujian Province as a channel for community contributions. The foundation has financially supported the maintenance of classrooms and dormitories and also offers scholarships to distressed elementary and vocational school students. Other contributions made by the Foundation include sponsoring local police and fire departments, road maintenance, and disaster relief.
In Vietnam, Feng Tay Group has contributed to road construction, helped disabled people to find jobs, provided scholarships to university students and supported school sports events. Furthermore, in Indonesia, our group has made donations for disaster relief and charity, assisting in the reconstruction of a mosque and sponsoring local festivals. |
